Language education and cultural studies — two tracks, one mission
Our language curriculum follows the ACTFL (American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages) proficiency framework — the same standard used by major universities and language certification programs. Students progress through six levels, gaining real conversational and literacy skills in their chosen language.
Entry-level foundations — the building blocks of communication.
Expanding vocabulary into everyday home and family contexts.
Moving beyond the home into daily routines and the world around them.
Communicating about the wider community and cultural experiences.
Engaging with current events and abstract topics in meaningful ways.
Near-fluent engagement with literature, history, and sophisticated conversation.
